No More Query Builder- How to Use the New CMS Data Access Driver

SAP has finally introduced a modern replacement for the Query Builder utility. Starting in BI 4.2 SP3, administrators now have the capability to query BI metadata through a new CMS data access driver. This latest enhancement makes it possible to use standard tools, like IDT and WebI, to extract valuable nuggets of information from the complex CMS data structure. Join us and BusinessObjects expert, Adam Lange with A. Lange Consulting, who will explore the new CMS data access driver and SAP’s delivered CMS universe and sample reports.

This was a great lesson. I do have a question. We have a need for pulling a list of reports that use ODBC vs Native Oracle connections. And it lives here in Query Builder: SI_PROCESSINFO.SI_LOGON_INFO.SI_LOGON1.SI_SERVER_TYPE but I can't figure out how to display that in a webi report using the CMS universe. I tried creating it as a new dimension, but it just kept coming up blank(null). Do you have any ideas on how I can make this work?
